Richard F. Rail

Richard F. (“Dick”) Rail was born in Providence, Rhode Island in 1935.  Following military service, he graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in Business Administration in 1961.  He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1967.

Dick’s professional career was in public accounting, business, and finance; beginning in New England in 1961, but migrating to the Southwest by 1963.  From 1980 until he retired in 1998 he served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer of St. Joseph Healthcare System (SJHS), Albuquerque, NM.    

Since his retirement in 1998 he has served continuously on various “St. Joseph” boards and committees. 

Dick and his wife “Andy” live in Albuquerque.  They have five children and seven grandchildren.
