SISTER PATRICIA ANN SABOURIN, SC
Sister Patricia Ann is a Sister of Charity of Cincinnati and has served in various leadership positions for the Sisters of Charity.
She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy and was trained in Midwifery at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital in England. She has held various positions - from staff pharmacist to Director of Pharmacy Services - in the pharmacy department in several hospitals, including St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe and the old St. Joseph Hospital in Albuquerque. She has also worked for the NM State Penitentiary as a pharmacist.
Sister Patricia served at Trinity Hospital in Malawi, Central Africa as a supervisor and pharmacist in addition to providing instruction in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. She was the assistant director at the St. Elizabeth Shelter for Homeless in Santa Fe; a house parent and case manager for women and children with Aids at Casa de Esperanza de los Niños, a child care provider, staff teacher and head teacher at Cuidando Los Niños; and a volunteer at Lovelace Sandia Hospice.
She is currently enrolled in the Health Care Ethics Certificate Program at the University of New Mexico Institute for Ethics.
