Embracing Children

In July, 2009 the St. Joseph Community Health Board of Directors made the decision to define the health aspects of early childhood development as its unifying, long-term strategic focus.  After a comprehensive discernment process, the SJCH Board adopted the Strategic Plan below for the first phase of work.  Phase One work includes 3 major programs  (Advocacy, a Home Visiting Program, and a Referral Program) that will support the SJCH goal of insuring that “Children reach kindergarten with the health and family support necessary to support learning.”
